My Computers

You will find documentation of my computers here.......

My main PC

My main PC I've been using for many years.
Tried many Linux distributions on here and also gentoo for the first time. It is mostly being used for gaming with Fedora, but I also have gentoo on it and am planning to use that more again.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
AMD RX 9060 XT 16GB
32 GB DDR4 (3200 MT/s)
4 Drives (1tb, 500GB, 500GB, 250GB)

My secondary PC

My secondary PC I use most of the time.
I use it as my dailydriver for light gaming, programming and some design stuff. It is a pretty awesome small but powerfull PC :3
Currently using Gentoo with Sway and Arch with Hyprland on it.

AMD Ryzen 7 8700G
AMD Radeon 7800M
32 BG DDR5 (6400 MT/s)
4 Drives (2x 500GB, 2x 250GB)

My Thinkpad X1 Yoga

My most recent Thinkpad I bought.
It's a nice portable thinkpad I use for note taking and learning stuff.
It has a surprisingly good and robust quality and the 1440p display is a nice bonus (‾◡◝)
It is currently running Arch with KDE. I am thinking of installing Gentoo, but the compile times won't be as nice and I think I will stick with Arch for now.

Intel Core i7-8565U
Intel UHD Graphics
16GB LPDDR3 (2133 MT/s)

My thinkpdad E14

My current main Laptop running Gentoo and Fedora.
I've been using i3 for a long time but recently switched to trinity desktop on gentoo, might also install windowmaker or something similar.

Whoaa Stuff

IBM ThinkPad T42 Restoration and Linux Setup

Currently restoring an IBM ThinkPad T42 from 2004. Some cleaning, hardware repairs, replacements, and installing Linux (Gentoo, antiX and Q4OS).
A small project in bringing vintage computing back to usable condition.

My small Home Server

A Home Server I recently built, to use as a Nas, for docker containers and to try out VMs

It currently has two 2TB nas drives and two smaller SATA SSDs, both in a Raid-1.
Two Nextclouds are using the storrage on it, some Docker containers for smaller things like uptime kuma and also a small Minecraft server.

I am currently planning on upgrading it with more RAM and a better CPU, but I think that will have to wait a bit. It would be nice to host more Minecraft servers on it and use multiple VMs to try out new systems.

Retro PC Build - with big chunky crt

A custom PC built from old components. From a Pentium 4 system through Athalon 64 and now running Phenom II X4 965 with Nvidia GTX 960. Running Windows Vista, Windows XP, Arch Linux with WindowMaker and Gentoo with Trinity desktop.
